Why Bloom Club?
As both a kindergarten teacher and a parent, I've seen how much we ask of today's students.
While schools do an incredible job teaching academic content, there isn't always enough time to intentionally build the habits and life skills that help children truly thrive.
Bloom Club was created to fill that gap.
Through thoughtfully designed enrichment experiences, students strengthen executive functioning, critical thinking, creativity, confidence, and character. We nurture and grow the skills that support success in school and beyond.

Meet Katie
Founder & Teacher
Hi, I'm Katie, founder of Bloom Club.
After more than 16 years in education, I chose to step away from the traditional classroom, not because I wanted to leave teaching, but because I realized I wanted to serve children and families in a different way. Over the years, I had come to believe that some of the most important lessons children learn aren't just academic. They're the confidence to try, the resilience to keep going, the curiosity to ask questions, and the character to make good choices. I wanted to create a place where those skills could grow intentionally.
Looking back, I can see how every chapter of my career prepared me for Bloom Club. I've taught students from preschool through high school, served as a high school teacher and director of a child-oriented occupational education program that prepared future educators through hands-on experiences with preschool children, and supported learners with a wide range of strengths and needs. Living in Germany also gave me the unique opportunity to experience education through both the eyes of a teacher and a parent, broadening my perspective on childhood, independence, and the power of meaningful learning experiences.
Those experiences reinforced something I've always believed: education is about so much more than academics. It's about helping children discover their strengths, develop confidence, learn to solve problems, and become kind, capable, resilient people.
That belief became the foundation for Bloom Club.
I created Bloom Club to be the kind of enrichment program I would want for my own children...one that partners with families, nurtures the whole child, and provides meaningful opportunities for children to grow through engaging, teacher-led experiences.
My goal is simple:
I want every child who joins Bloom Club to believe, "I can do hard things. I can solve problems. I can be creative. I can be kind. I can do anything."
